On 11/19/18 at 8:38pm Flanders was activated for a MVA. Flanders arrived on scene two minutes after activation to find a 1 car roll over. Witnesses on scene state they seen something dart across the road. Unknown if it was an animal or person Chief Dunleavy conducted a search of the surrounding woods which included the help of Flanders Fire Department, Flanders Woodland Rescue Team, Southampton Police Department and Suffolk County Police aviation unit. After a thorough search and no animal or person was found the search ended at 940pm. As per Chief Dunleavy only one person was transported to PBMC with minor injuries. 7-17-16 as well as 7-17-18 were on scene under the command of Operatons Officer Branden Ceckowski (Assistant Chief)
